The foundation, along with a dedicated group of friends, is currently working on financing a computer room, set to begin construction in the first semester of 2024. This facility will significantly enhance our educational program by providing young people with essential IT training.

Marquetalia is more than a two-hour bus ride from Santa Marta, home to several universities and technical institutions. This distance, coupled with the significant costs in terms of money and time, prevents many young people from pursuing further education or acquiring a profession. A computer room would provide them with the opportunity to study remotely, overcoming these barriers.

We are confident that we can successfully complete this project and enrich our Educational Program. This will enable young people to attain their high school diplomas and acquire IT skills, allowing them to study online regardless of their location, paving the way for a future with more opportunities.
