New Webpage for the Foundation

In 2019 Christian Kappler from Switzerland met Javier Palacio in a restaurant in Santa Marta. Javier told Christian about the social work and invited him to the finca in Marqetalia. Back then it was difficult to capture the scope and the huge effort from the voluntary work of Javier just from the foundation’s webpage.

After a call with Javier in early April 2020 it was clear that the foundation needed a new homepage to better communicate the need for donations, especially in difficult times like the COVID-19 crisis. Together with his girlfriend Chantal and his sister Ruth, both marketing professionals, Christian initiated the voluntary homepage project. After a weekend of lots of work and even more coffee, the homepage was ready to be published. The aim is to transparently communicate more details about the social work and to share its impact on the local community.
