Newsletter 2026
The main focus of our work is providing educational support for children who have dropped out of school. Over the years, we’ve witnessed incredible transformations as many of them return to school and go on to complete their studies.
Today, we’re thrilled to share the success of María José Casasbuenas, a student who has been part of our educational program for the past five years. María José has achieved an outstanding milestone, she ranked first overall in her school with a score of 367, securing a government scholarship to pursue her university education.
Educational Program
In the past six months, the Foundation has made remarkable progress in supporting youth education. Our students continue to show strong academic results and personal growth, reflecting their dedication and the impact of our programs.
We proudly congratulate María José Casasbuenas, who achieved the highest academic ranking in her school and earned a government scholarship for university.
Our sincere thanks go to Professor Max and Professor Juliana for their continued dedication and guidance in the village’s educational program.
Computer Room
Thanks to the University of Zurich’s laptop donation and the support of our Friends of the Foundation, the computer room is now fully operational. It’s helping young people build digital skills, study English, and complete their homework — opening doors to new opportunities.
Growth in participation
We doubled the number of participants in 2025, going from 20 to 40 children. This increase reflects the positive impact of the activities offered and the growing interest of young people in the community in being part of the social work and their desire to improve themselves.
Intergenerational camaraderie
One of the most touching aspects has been the strengthening of camaraderie between older and younger participants. We have observed how they help each other with their tasks, creating an atmosphere of respect, solidarity, and collaborative learning.
